Drain not doing what it should in Stony Stratford?
Dynamic Plumbing & Maintenance provides drain unblocking in Stony Stratford as part of our regular coverage, not somewhere we squeeze in when it suits. The town’s mix of old town centre buildings and later estates means blockages can come from quite different causes depending on where you are, so we look properly before we start clearing anything.

DIY Drainage Not Working?
Trying to unblock a drain in Stony Stratford yourself and not getting anywhere? Describe what you're seeing, slow drainage, a bad smell, water backing up, and we'll take it from there with proper drain repairs rather than a temporary fix.
Some blockages can’t wait for a routine slot. We offer emergency drain unblocking in Stony Stratford and 24 hour blocked drains cover for anything that’s actively overflowing, backing up, or putting your property at risk, not just a daytime service with an answerphone after 5pm.
A blocked drain behind a High Street shop or in an office kitchen isn’t just inconvenient, it can stop you trading for the day. We take on commercial premises across Stony Stratford alongside domestic properties, and we’ll work around your opening hours where we can.
Stony Stratford’s town centre, the High Street, Market Square and Church Street, is Georgian and Victorian, much of it rebuilt after 18th century fires. Drainage under buildings this old has usually been altered, extended and patched many times over, and two things tend to cause trouble:
Old clay pipe joints that tree roots have found their way into over the decades
Pipework that's shifted slightly with age, catching debris that would otherwise wash straight through
None of this means anything's gone badly wrong, it just means an older Stony Stratford property sometimes needs a different approach than a house on a modern estate.
Galley Hill and Fullers Slade, built in the early 1970s, have their own drainage laid down at the time, and pipework from that era is simply getting old now. A blockage here is often about age and wear rather than anything unusual, and it’s a very normal call for us.
A drain inside your own property boundary, serving only your home, is down to you as the homeowner.
Road gullies draining the public highway are looked after by the council.
A shared or blocked sewer beyond your boundary is owned by Anglian Water, who supply and manage drainage across the town.
If you're not sure which applies to you, tell us what's happening and we'll help you work it out before any work starts.
We're a small, hands on team who clear the drain ourselves, not a national drainage company booking you in for whoever's next on the rota.
Not a town we cover reluctantly or treat as an extra journey. We know the geography and street layouts across MK11 intimately.
Long enough to have seen most of what the town's older streets and newer estates can throw at us.
Check it yourself before you book, we'd rather you saw the evidence than took our word for it.
Blocked drains rarely wait for a convenient time. We're reachable outside office hours too.
We'll look at the job and give you a straight answer, not a hard sell.
